Associate Director – Patient Access Hospital Services

This position leads all patient access operations for CCH through collaboration and integration with internal and external partners; manages the patient access department; and evaluates the effectiveness of patient access work functions and implements best practice changes to workflow.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or healthcare administration; a minimum of three years of experience in revenue cycle management; previous related experience in patient access; and AAHAM Revenue Cycle Executive certification.

Medical Technologist

This position accurately performs routine and stat testing within established guidelines and procedures; makes correct judgments about the validity of test results based on quality control data and patient status; and maintains complete and accurate logs or documents according to section protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree with MLS or MT certifications; additional education, certifications, and/or experience that meet CLIA requirements for moderate and high complexity testing; and instrumentation experience.

Patient Representative

This position conducts comprehensive patient interviews by obtaining accurate information; maintains and protects patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations; explains and obtains signatures on HIPAA privacy notices; and obtains referrals as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and thorough knowledge of the registration and insurance verification systems currently available to the hospital; knowledge of medical terminology; sound analytical and planning skills; and fluency in both English and Spanish.
