As part of its expansion, Chester County Hospital is building an environment that fosters healing by giving patients and their families choice and control and offering care providers a compelling place to work.

The hospital’s new procedural platform will resonate with the needs of patients, families, and medical providers and will support the values of a community-based hospital.

The platform will include 15 modern Operating Room (OR) suites, including three high-tech labs for Catheterization and Electrophysiology and one hybrid OR. These features will allow more space for the most sophisticated medical procedures, provide more personalized care for inpatients, and allow local residents and the surrounding communities to stay close to home to receive the highest quality of care.

The hybrid OR will boast high-quality robotic imaging and will be the very definition of cutting edge.

“In every operating room at Chester County Hospital, the surgical team works together seamlessly,” said Michael Barber, the hospital’s Chief Operating Officer. “Everyone on the team – surgeons, nurses, technicians – has extensive training and experience and works together to deliver the best care. And we can’t wait to bring those same levels of passion, expertise, and teamwork to the new hybrid ORs.”
