Montgomery County Moguls Among Forbes’ Newest Billionaires

Montgomery County billionaires rise on Forbes 2025 list, highlighting local business giants and company founders.

Montgomery County is home to several of the newest billionaires featured on Forbes’ 2025 list of the world’s richest people, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Among the 16 Greater Philadelphia-area entries are key figures and company founders based in Bala Cynwyd, Fort Washington, Conshohocken, and King of Prussia.

Leading the pack is Jeffrey Yass, a Bala Cynwyd resident and co-founder of Susquehanna International Group. Ranked No. 25 globally with a net worth of $59 billion, Yass saw his fortune more than double in the past year.

Also debuting are Mitchell Morgan and his family at No. 639 with $5.5 billion. Morgan leads Conshohocken-based Morgan Properties, one of the largest multifamily housing owners in the U.S. Bruce Toll, co-founder of Fort Washington-based Toll Brothers, enters the list at No. 1,850 with $1.9 billion.

Amanda Westphal Radcliffe and Stefanie Westphal Thompson join at No. 2,790, each with $1.1 billion. The sisters own significant stakes in King of Prussia-based Vertex, a tax software firm founded by their parents.

Other Montgomery County billionaires include Arthur Dantchik (Gladwyne), Michael Rubin (Bryn Mawr), Jeffrey Lurie (Wynnewood), and Alan Miller (Lower Merion), underscoring the county’s growing presence among the global elite.
