Jeff Yass, who lives in Bala Cynwyd, is an American billionaire businessman. He co-founded and serves as managing director of Susquehanna International Group (SIG), a trading and technology firm, also based in Bala Cynwyd.
As of April 2025, Forbes estimated his net worth at $59 billion, making him the richest person in Pennsylvania and the 25th wealthiest globally.
Yass is a registered Libertarian who primarily donates to Republican candidates and causes, including significant contributions to super-PACs like Club for Growth Action. He and his wife, Janine Yass, are notable supporters of school choice initiatives.
Additionally, Yass is a major investor in TikTok. After meeting with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in March 2024, Trump’s stance shifted from supporting a ban on TikTok to opposing it.
In the 2024 U.S. election cycle, Yass donated approximately $100 million to Republican groups and campaigns.
