Beth Alfonsi, the Executive Director of Advancement at Malvern Prep, has earned the distinction of being one of Main Line Today’s Power Women, writes Lisa Dukart for the magazine.

Alfonsi believes that education is a game-changer for young people, as it creates a world of opportunities for them. She was able to witness this during her tenure as Assistant Director of Admissions at Neumann University, where she worked with many first-generation college students.

“The financial aid process and the college application process were really overwhelming for a lot of these families,” said Alfonsi.

She has also served at the Healey Education Foundation, where she strengthened its mission of fostering Catholic school sustainability.

At Malvern Prep, Alfonsi is working to create impact scholarships that match donors with the students they are sponsoring. She is also responsible for the majority of the school’s revenue through admissions and development.
