In the wake of two productive seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL linebacker and Malvern Prep graduate Carl Nassib has signed a three-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, writes Greg Pickel for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The deal is for $25 million, with $17 million in guarantees.

Nassib, a West Chester native, walked on at Penn State nine years ago. Before leaving Happy Valley, he has become an All-American and the Big Ten’s Defensive Player of the Year.

A third-round draft pick, Nassib played his two seasons as a defensive end for the Cleveland Browns, before being picked up by the Buccaneers.

In two seasons in Tampa Bay, the 6-foot-7, 245-pound Nassib started 17 of the 29 games he played and registered 12.5 sacks and 20 tackles for loss.
