Information Security and Risk Management

This position will help clients to define and implement a comprehensive information security risk management program that safeguards electronic protected health information (ePHI) from unauthorized use and disclosure. He/she will be responsible for the oversight of complex security consulting and implementation projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field or have the equivalent work experience. He/she will have CyberSecurity Risk Management experience, preferably in Assessments, Management, and Policies and Procedures. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, as well as experience at multiple health systems or hospitals is preferred.

UX (User Experience) Researcher

This position is responsible for understanding the vision of Cerner domains and using this knowledge to communicate user research and analysis findings to engineering and solution owners. He/she will solve complex design challenges and present ideas across Cerner and its clients. The person will also interact directly with end-users to gather data through usability testing methods, as well as other user-centered design research techniques.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Psychology, Ergonomics, Library Sciences, or a related field. He/she must have a strong understanding of user research methodologies and how research results lead to improvements in the end-user’s experience.

Corporate Meetings and Events Program Coordinator

This position is responsible for the coordination of numerous programs and events, which include large associate corporate/family events, internal meetings and events, and Cerner-hosted, executive-level client events. This role works collaboratively with multiple Cerner and external partners. Responsibilities will include all aspects of event planning from venue inspection/selection to contract negotiation to event coordination and execution and outcomes/report generation.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent work experience. He/she must have a minimum of five years of experience planning corporate events. Experience with site selection and contract negotiation, as well as strong project management skills are required. Previous experience working with C-suite executives and the ability to travel occasionally are also required.
