Malvern’s Lisa Scottoline Celebrates New Novel with a Mother-Daughter Author Event

Lisa Scottoline and daughter Francesca Serritella will celebrate both of their upcoming book releases at a shared live event.

Malvern author Lisa Scottoline will appear alongside her daughter for a mother-daughter author event in Phoenixville, writes staff for Newsbreak.

Scottoline and her daughter Francesca Serritella each have upcoming book releases for their respective novels The Unraveling of Julia and Full Bloom. The duo will celebrate with a live event at the Colonial Theatre.

Phoenixville independent bookstore Reads & Company will sponsor the event, set for Aug. 7 at 7 PM.

Individual tickets sell for $37.74 and include a signed copy of Serritella’s Full Bloom. Visitors can also purchase signed copies of The Unraveling of Julia when checking out.

The mother-daughter duo has spent years working as a writing team. Scottoline and Serritella co-authored several memoirs in addition to “Chick Wit,” a shared column in The Philadelphia Inquirer.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Scottoline originally worked as a trial lawyer before becoming a published author. Now, she has 37 novels published across 35 countries.

Her newest novel, The Unraveling of Julia, is a psychological thriller following a young widow’s mysterious inheritance of a Tuscan villa and her journey to Italy to investigate.

Serritella’s new novel, Full Bloom, follows a New York City lighting designer whose life is changed by a mysterious perfume. Signed copies of both novels will be available at the mother-daughter duo’s upcoming shared author event.
