Dinner is served! Three new restaurants are coming to Chester County, writes Michael Klein for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
L’Olivo Trattoria will come to the Exton dining scene this August or September. The Italian restaurant is the product of Francis and Nui Pascal, whose previous projects include Birchrunville Store Cafe and Butterscotch Pastry Shop.
The eatery will take on the old Suburban Brewing Restaurant and Beer Garden location, which recently closed at the beginning of the year. L’Olivo will be all about pasta, including interesting hints of Thai cuisine.
Devon will see two new dining spots in one: Salt II and a (currently) unnamed Japanese restaurant. Both restaurants will find their home in the once extravagant La Jonquille and Shiraz, with Salt II taking the first floor and the upscale Japanese restaurant claiming the second.
Salt II is the sequel to the popular Salt Korean BBQ, a high-end spin on Korean BBQ. One of the owners, Rich Kim, sees the pair opening in approximately eight months, but no specific timeline has been set.
