The ‘Welcome to Phoenixville’ mural sits on the exterior wall of Marly’s BYO. The mural was inspired by a 1932 photo, showing the view of the local factory that is still standing today. The mural’s artist is Teresa Haag.
The ‘Warren Avenue Project’ mural is painted on the side of Malvern Saddlery. It was the Malvern Community Art Project’s sixth completed project. The mural is a recreation of a historic picture of a horse and buggy that’s traveling through the Warren Avenue tunnel.
The ‘Votes for Women’ mural in West Chester celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Women’s Suffrage Movement and the 19th Amendment. The mural supports women’s right to vote in the past, present, and future.
The ‘Supporting Families with Homelessness’ mural in West Chester was painted by Noah Burns, a West Chester University art student. The mural is dedicated to the Friends Association, a nonprofit that aids families struggling with homelessness in Chester County.
