Forbes recently ranked greater Philadelphia companies among its list of America’s Best Employers for Women. Two of them were in Chester County, writes Mikyhial Clark for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Malvern-based investment giant Vanguard ranked no. 295 on the list. The 20,000-employee company has offices scattered across the Philadelphia region, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Scottsdale, Arizona.

The parent company of West Chester’s QVC, Qurate, also ranked no. 342. The list was based on a survey of over 60,000 workers at companies with at least 1,000 employees.

The companies were ranked on the metrics of how survey respondents rated salary, pay equity, parental leave policies, training opportunities, career advancement, response to discrimination, gender diversity, work environment, and if the employees would recommend the company to their friends or family.
