A recent study from Forbes lists 14 Philadelphia-area companies as being among the nation’s best workplaces for women, and two of them are in Chester County, writes Lisa Dukart for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Lengthening it from 100 companies to 400 companies around the United States, Forbes’ Best Employers for Women list used data from a survey that reached 50,000 Americans. 30,000 women and 20,000 men were asked to rate their company based on points such as diversity, working conditions, and if they would recommend their employer. Additionally, women respondents were asked about parental leave, pay equity, and discrimination.

Landing at No. 320 is Malvern’s Vanguard, the investment advisor company with about $7 trillion in global assets.

Although located in France, Saint-Gobain’s Malvern-based North American headquarters took the No. 331 spot.

Elsewhere in the Philadelphia region, AstraZeneca in Wilmington, Del. and SAP in Newtown Square made the top ten at No. 7 and No. 9, respectively. In 2021, no local companies had made the top 50 list.
