Coatesville furniture store, Chertok’s, is under new management. Earlier this year, owners Larry Chertok and his wife Terian, retired and sold the business to a new owner, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News.
Now called Home Nest Furniture, the store will have its grand opening on Friday, May 5 during the First Friday festivities. The new owners are aiming to be a community-friendly business and have affordable prices.
In addition to lower prices, the new owners, Khalid Munir and Shahzad Qureshi, want to offer credit for people who don’t have it. Munir is well-known in the Coatesville community. He also owns a gas station and gave away food during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The store is three-levels and 32,000 square feet. Munir is hoping to open more branches within 20 miles of the Coatesville area.
