For the 15th year in a row, Exton-based Hunt Auctions organized a Super Bowl event ahead of the big game with hundreds of historic pieces for fans to bid on, reports Dave Lesko for WFMZ 69 News.

This was the second event held ahead of a Super Bowl when the Eagles were in it.

“It adds a nice flavor for us being in the Philly area,” said Hunt Auctions president David Hunt, “and obviously lots of fans, lots of our bidders are actually coming out for the game.”

The items available for auction ranged from a couple of hundred dollars to six figures.

“It’s a great way to get some historic pieces and some items right off the field from the NFL Auction program,” said Hunt.

“And whether it’s a vintage piece or a modern piece, a portion of the proceeds from the auction items will go to NFL Auction charities.”

When it is not on the road, Hunt Auctions runs monthly auctions out of its warehouse in Chester County.
