Technical Writer

This position develops the operation, installation, and training documents/manuals for different product lines of packaging equipment. He/she researches, generates, and maintains equipment manuals for standard and custom machinery and investigates up-to-date available tools to improve word processing, graphics, and page layout efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in English or Engineering, or at least four years of experience in a technical written communication field; experience working in the industrial environment and samples of works related to this field; the ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings to use in the illustration; and thorough knowledge of graphics programs (e.g. Adobe Photoshop).

Senior Electronic Technician/Development

This position will support reordering of boards by communicating with external Fab House and, when necessary, find substitutes for hard-to-find, obsolete parts; perform diagnosis, repair, verification, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting for all in-house electronic control boards used in All-Fill packaging equipment; and identify and resolve control boards’ malfunctions, communicating with shop, manufacturers, customers, and field service as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or certificate of completion from an electronics trade or military school; or a high school diploma and a minimum of four years of electronics troubleshooting experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. He/she will have experience using electronic diagnosis and repair tools such as voltmeter, oscilloscope, ESD control equipment, and soldering tools. The person will also have working knowledge of CAD tools and the ability to perform documentation.

Field Service Technician

This position will work closely with customers and employees when new machinery arrives at their plant or an existing machine is having issues; spend 40-60 percent of their time traveling to customer facilities, both nationally and internationally; provide service and customer support during field visits; manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and training; and diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of all All-Fill’s product offerings and proper product-handling experience; be well-versed with customer relations; have the mechanical and technical knowledge to be able to work on high-end industrial packaging equipment; and the ability to travel to customer’s facilities all over the world.
