Chester County is home to 12 of the 50 best places in Pennsylvania – and the best place in the entire country – to raise a family in 2021, according to a new report published by Niche.com.

Niche.com determined its rankings based on key factors that are meaningful for families. These include the quality of local schools, safety, availability of affordable housing, and access to family amenities.

All places that made the Top 50 received an A+ or an A grade for their overall score.

Chesterbrook topped the list as the best place to raise a family, not only in Pennsylvania but the entire nation. The town offers residents a dense suburban feel with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks.
