Chester County is home to 12 of the 50 Best Places to Live in Pennsylvania, including the No. 1 place in America, according to new rankings from Niche.com.

Niche.com based its rankings on data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the Centers for Disease Control — along with user reviews. Among the key factors considered were quality of local schools, cost of living, crime rates, employment statistics, and access to amenities.

All locations in the Top 50 achieved an A+ overall grade.

Chesterbrook, which ranked No. 1 in Pennsylvania and all of America, offers residents a dense suburban feel with its many restaurants, coffee shops, and parks.

“Quiet neighborhoods, friendly people, good school district, clean and spacious local park, overall excellent place to live!” wrote one reviewer.
