Update: Cases Continue to Decrease, as Gap Narrows Between Where COVID-19 Is Spreading Most, Least

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Chester County continues to plummet, although some areas remain more infected than others, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code for the seven days ending Feb. 24, compared to the rates for the seven days prior.

The highest percentage increase in Chester County during this period was in ZIP Code 19475 (Spring City), which recorded an increase of five percent to reach 581 cases.

ZIP Codes 19355 (Malvern), 19310 (Atglen), 19374 (Toughkenamon), 19330 (Cochranville), and 19350 (Landenberg) are next with an increase of two percent each.

On the other hand, ZIP Codes 19333 (Devon) and 19372 (Thorndale) each reported an increase of just one percent over the past seven days.
