UPDATE: Tracking Where COVID-19 Has Spread the MOST and LEAST in Chester County in the Last Week

The number of new COVID-19 cases is falling throughout Pennsylvania, although some areas of the state, including in Chester County, have higher infection rates than others.

The latest numbers from the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection for each ZIP Code for the seven days ending Jan. 27, compared to the prior seven days.

The highest percentage increase in Chester County over this period was in ZIP Code 19358 (Modena). Here, two new cases translated to an increase of 18 percent.

ZIP Code 19362 (Nottingham) saw an increase of 15 percent, while ZIP Code 19352 (Lincoln University) rose by 13 percent.

Next are ZIP Codes 19390 (West Grove) and 19465 (Saint Peters/Pottstown), each with an 11 percent increase, and ZIP Code 19330 (Cochranville) with a 10 percent increase.

On a more positive note, several ZIP Codes reported smaller increases than in previous weeks. These include ZIP Codes 19374 (Toughkenamon) and (19310) Atglen, both of which saw their number of cases rise by just three percent.
