Check Out Which ZIP Codes in Chester County Have the Highest Incidence Rates of COVID-19

Cases of COVID-19 continue to increase rapidly across the state, with some areas in Chester County also starting to feel the effects, writes Sean Adams for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health show that the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code for the seven days ending Nov. 25, compared to infection rates for the seven days prior.

In Chester County, ZIP Code 19374 (Toughkenamon) has the highest incidence rate at 698 cases per 10,000 people.

In ZIP Code 19311 (Avondale), the incidence rate is 329 cases per 10,000 people, and in ZIP Code 19382 (West Chester), it is 291 cases per 10,000 people.

In ZIP Code 19348 (Kennett Square), the incidence rate is 259 cases per 10,000 people,

Statewide, Philadelphia’s densely populated ZIP Codes continue to record the highest numbers of COVID-19 cases.
