Chester County is home to seven of the 40 Top-Rated Public High Schools in Philadelphia and the Suburbs, according to a recently published list by Philadelphia magazine.
The top-performing schools – listed alphabetically, in lieu of being ranked – were determined by standardized tests and graduation rates, among other statistical measures.
Conestoga has a graduation percentage of 93, college percentage of 97, and verbal/math SAT scores of 629/643.
Downingtown East has a 97 percent graduation rate, 90 percent college rate, and 583/587 SAT scores.
Downingtown STEM Academy has 100 percent graduation and college rates and 689/670 SAT scores.
Great Valley recorded a graduation percentage of 96 and college percentage of 93 with SAT scores of 610/604.
Unionville has 97 percent and 96 percent graduation and college rates, respectively, and SAT scores of 625/627.
Rustin has a graduation percentage of 98, college percentage of 92, and SAT scores of 607/594.
Henderson has a 98 percent graduation rate, 92 percent college rate, and SAT scores of 586/590.
