Chester County Places 15 Among Top 100 Public Elementary Schools in Pennsylvania

Niche.com has unveiled its 2019 Best Public Elementary Schools in Pennsylvania, a ranking based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and data from the U.S. Department of Education, as well as millions of reviews from students and parents.

Chester County placed 15 schools from four different school districts among the Top 100, including Chadds Ford Elementary and Pocopson Elementary of the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District at Nos. 8 and 18, respectively.

Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.

The following elementary schools, with school district in parentheses, were among the Top 100:

  • 22. Hillside (Tredyffrin-Easttown)
  • 30. Beaumont (Tredyffrin-Easttown)
  • 31. Valley Forge (Tredyffrin-Easttown)

  • 40. Hillendale (Unionville-Chadds Ford)
  • 42. Unionville (Unionville-Chadds Ford)
  • 47. New Eagle (Tredyffrin-Easttown)
  • 61. Charlestown (Great Valley)
  • 65. Exton (West Chester Area)
  • 67. Fern Hill (West Chester Area)
  • 77. Westtown-Thornbury (West Chester Area)
  • 83. Hillsdale (West Chester Area)
