Hazmat Responder

This position responds to emergency hazardous material spills, releases, or unknown substances that could be a hazardous material; operates in chemical-protective clothing, including encapsulating suits; and uses technical or computer database references in performing hazard and risk assessments.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and six months to one year of job-related experience and/or training; experience in firefighting, EMS, or other first-response emergency services; and certification as a Hazardous Materials Technician based on OSHA 1910.120(q).

Cook

This position prepares foods needed to coordinate meals according to current dietary and sanitation standards; maintains proper storage and cooking temperatures of all food and equipment items in the kitchen; and monitors dietary staff on a daily basis for proper technique and use of equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and food service certification; a minimum of one year of work experience in a clinical dietary setting; working knowledge of updated nutritional standards according to the American Dietetic Association; and customer service experience.
