Environmental Health Supervisor (Water & Sewage)

This position oversees programs involving individual water supplies, on-lot sewage disposal systems, and liquid waste hauling; supervises, evaluates, and trains professional and administrative staff; and prepares, distributes, and maintains records of inspections and investigations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and five years of job-related experience; Sewage Enforcement Officer certification; working knowledge of public health vectors and environmental health principles; strong public relations skills and knowledge of public health vectors.

Registered Nurse – Aging

This position reviews and interprets physical, emotional, psychosocial, medical, and functional information for CCDAS consumers; provides medical and health needs consultation to CCDAS staff; and assists with appeal hearings, including preparation, attendance, and participation.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program; current Pennsylvania RN license; knowledge of the theories and practices of professional community health nursing; and skill in applying basic nursing practices and methodology.

Court Reporter I

This position produces verbatim recordings of judicial proceedings; prepares certified transcripts for litigants, attorneys, and the court; orally reads testimony to presiding judges, hearing officers, and masters to aid in the writing of their decisions; and helps coordinate efficient production of transcripts.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; the ability to write, at 95 percent accuracy, a minimum of 225 wpm for testimony, 200 wpm for jury charges, and 180 wpm for literary material; training to perform verbatim reporting and transcription of testimony at high speeds.
