Trade Show Meeting Planner/Project Manager

This position will be responsible for developing timelines and coordinating multiple components of special projects, ranging from on-demand educational Web sites and promotion for regional meetings to print supplements. He/she will also be responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks associated with planning meetings, tradeshows, and special events for company’s own conferences, tradeshows, and symposiums. Approximately 15-20 percent national travel will be required.

The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the fields of Hospitality Management, Event Marketing, Project Management, or Business Administration. He/she will have a minimum of three years of relevant experience. The person must also have working knowledge of audio visual equipment and meeting room setup, and have the ability to control budgets, schedules/timelines, and overall action items.
