Closets by Design of Southeast Pennsylvania and Delaware recently held a groundbreaking ceremony with the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce at the edge of a nine-acre site where the former’s new headquarters will be built on Three Tun Road in Malvern.

The new headquarters will provide ease of access to customers in Pennsylvania and Delaware, while providing a convenient location for those scheduling appointments to visit the impressive design center that features Closets by Design’s entire product portfolio.

The new two-story office will include a bird’s-eye view of the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The new location will house a Training Center and the Human Resources, Customer Service, Engineering, and Marketing departments, as well as the Production Plant and Design Center.

Members of the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce and its Board of Directors were on hand to celebrate the occasion and thank Closets by Design for its contribution to the region.

“Closets by Design has been an active partner for the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce since they joined in 2014 and has contributed much to the region and Chester County,” said Laurie Kerkering, President of the ERCC. “We are thrilled that they have decided to keep their operations in the Exton region and look forward to continued success and growth for their company and their dedicated employees.”

Since its inception in 2004, Closets by Design of Southeast Pennsylvania and Delaware attributes its growth to the philosophy that happy employees make happy customers.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Locust Lane Brewery with food catered by Bright Spot Café. Both businesses are chamber members, as is the photographer, TrueVine Photography.

Expected completion of the new facility is Nov. 1.
