Import Entry Writer

This position manages and ensures the correct and consistent implementation of all procedures related to customer clearance and cargo movement; negotiates and generates rate quotes; prepares all documentation required by U.S. law and foreign countries; and generates booking and insurance documentation and ISF.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three to five years of experience in the import brokerage field; strong knowledge of Prior Notice, FDA Clearance and Product Codes, and USDA exam handling; knowledge of customs clearance and dealing with government agencies; and familiarity with import administration and regulation.
