This position directs, manages, and administers the operations and activities of the department in conformance with election law and regulation; prepares instruction manuals and conducts classes; and oversees maintenance and updating of computer system operations.
The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree and a concise knowledge of federal and state election and voter registration laws; strong budget management and supervisory skills; and an exceptional ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Account Clerk III
This position provides advanced fiscal support to all divisions within the public health department; performs data entry, data interpretation, and analytical tasks; and will clearly and concisely communicate analysis results.
The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in accounting or business administration; experience with PeopleSoft, Kronos, and Microsoft Office; in-depth knowledge of the county’s financial systems; and excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Casework Specialist
This position responds to abuse allegations and conducts investigations to assess risk and ensure the safety of children by conducting home visits; interviews to gather information, writes reports, and testifies in court; and provides referrals to community resources and services.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or the social sciences; two years of paid social services employment; the ability to manage priorities while responding to stressful and urgent situations; and proficiency in documenting situations.
