The West Chester Area School District serves a 75-square-mile suburban, urban, and rural area known for its many diversified businesses and beautiful historic countryside. A $225.7 million budget for 2015-16 supports close to 11,600 students in 10 elementary schools (kindergarten through grade 5), three middle schools (grades 6 through 8), and three high schools (grades 9 through 12). Case Worker

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field, and be proficient in the use of technology for individual communication and research. He/she should be proficient in presentation of technology to enhance small and large student group information & demonstration sessions.

The person should possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with other teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff, and outside professional contacts.

Safety & Compliance Transportation Specialist

The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of technology for individual communication and research. He/she must possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with other teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff, and outside professional contacts.

The person must have strong customer service skills, and the ability to learn school district policies and guidelines concerning transportation. He/she will also have the ability to learn laws and regulations concerning school bus transportation.
