Admissions Counselor, College of Adult & Professional Studies

This position conducts recruitment travel, including visits to college fairs and hosting recruitment events; initiates and develops relationships with prospective students and applicants; reviews and evaluates applications; and establishes and fosters relationships with college counselors.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and prior experience in college or university admissions, advising, counseling, or marketing; experience with a comprehensive student or financial information system such as Banner; and experience working with diverse populations.

Security Officer

This position ensures the safety and security of all students, faculty, and staff on the campus; investigates incidents and monitors the university switchboard; patrols the campus and ensures that buildings are secure; and monitors staff residence hall entrances.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; prior security or law enforcement experience; excellent customer service skills; and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Instructional Designer

This position administers and supports campus-wide course management tools, instructional technologies, and supporting academic systems; assists with the development and maintenance of technology-based curricula; and helps manage web-based courses and training programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in information technology, informatics, education, or education technology; and a minimum of five years of experience with professional development and training delivery, online course development, and/or academic web development.
