Wellness Wednesday: Health, It Starts With Me

By

Every woman, regardless of her size has, at one point, struggled with her appearance. The truth is, I struggled at times to zip up my “skinny” jeans and I faked it for a long time. Once I became a mom, I assumed I was supposed to step into that mom-bod and just deal with it.

But something inside of me said that is not true. You can be fit, healthy and happy in your own skin. I realized that in order for me to be able to give to my family, I was going to make sure that my ‘well’ was full at all times. That started with shedding a few extra pounds and inches, kicking the coffee habit and gaining confidence in my own skin.

If your well feels less than full, do something about it!  Fill it with nutrient dense foods and a positive community to lift you up!  Find a program that works for your lifestyle and stick with it.  Diets do not last but positive improvements over time sure do.

What do you do to fill your well?  I would love to hear from you.
