Chester County is the most paycheck-friendly county in Pennsylvania according to a recent study by SmartAsset.

The study looked for places across the state where the economic conditions allow people to keep more of the money they make. To determine where these places are, the study considered four different factors, including semi-monthly paycheck amounts, purchasing power, unemployment rates, and income growth.

These four factors were then used to calculate an overall paycheck-friendliness score.

Chester County ranked first in Pennsylvania and 664th nationwide.

Montgomery County is the second-most paycheck-friendly county in Pennsylvania, followed by Bucks County at No. 3 and Delaware County at No. 8.
