The Chesco Pops, an orchestra that has been entertaining residents of Chester County for 18 years, features 65 musicians from all walks of life who reside in Chester County and share a common love of music.
The Chesco Pops’ fare is pops, jazz, and light classical, and its mission is to provide the citizens of Chester County and beyond with the musical, cultural, educational, and entertainment benefits that derive from a resident pops orchestra.
The organization is in need of volunteers who can:
- assist with the mailing of marketing materials
- assist in the venue lobbies on concert days to set up display of materials, hand out programs, and collect ticket stubs at the auditorium doors
- help at local festivals/fairs where the Chesco Pops would have a table
Prospective volunteers should have a passion for the music the Chesco Pops performs. Several of the orchestra’s volunteers started out as very supportive fans, both young and “older.”
