Director of Packaging Development

This position is responsible for the development and innovation of the next generation packaging design for West’s elastomeric and seal products, containers, and drug delivery systems. The primary function will be management and oversight of next generation/innovating package design, package testing, support of West’s Ready-to-Use packaging, and commercial packaging support.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in packaging engineering in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. He/she will have at least 15 years of experience in process development, design for excellence, transfer to manufacturing, and/or high value manufacturing. Strong analytical skills with fundamental understanding of the first principles of engineering are required.

Procurement Specialist

This position will provide meaningful analysis of global spend in all sourcing categories. He/she will support Category Managers with data and analysis to form sourcing strategies, and will manage suppliers and identify savings opportunities. The person will also analyze the procurement process and provide KPIs to measure and improve process performance, and will track and report savings globally in agreement with Finance.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have at least three to five years of experience. He/she must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and have knowledge of SAP and ARIBA.

Manager of Internal Communications

This position is responsible for developing and executing a proactive internal communication program to drive employees’ understanding of the company’s priorities and key initiatives in order to engage and align employees with the company’s vision and business strategy. He/she will provide counsel to senior executives across the business on how best to engage and communicate with employees. The person will also partner with IT to identify, use, and integrate technology that will increase the effectiveness and timeliness of internal communications.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications (PR), Marketing Communications, or Journalism, have eight to ten years of experience. He/she will have experience with management of strategic internal engagement communication programs in partnership with business strategy execution.
