The Strawberry Festival is an annual four-day festival that benefits the greater Coatesville community. It’s a family-friendly event with something for everyone. There are strawberries galore, carnival rides, live music, delicious food, scrumptious strawberry shortcake, pony rides, shopping, fireworks, and much more.
The event is free to attend, and each activity is pay as you go.
Funds raised from the Strawberry Festival benefit the Coatesville Area Public Library, Coatesville Rotary Club, Coatesville Youth Initiative, and the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company. Since the Brandywine Health Foundation took over the Strawberry Festival in 2002, the foundation has distributed more than $1.3 million in grants to the greater Coatesville community from festival revenue alone.
