Attorneys at West Chester’s Lamb McErlane and throughout the Chester County Bar Association recently raised a glass of lemonade to help quench child cancer victims’ thirst for a cure.

Together, local lawyers participated in the 6th Annual Legal Lemonade Day, which supports the locally-led Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation — Lamb McErlane Managing Partner and Executive Committee Chairman Joel L. Frank serves as the foundation’s chairman of the board.

“I’m excited to serve in this new role and look forward to the enhanced responsibility of helping ALSF attain its mission,” Frank said when he was first elected earlier this year. “It is a special organization with devoted employees and volunteers.”

The fundraising efforts all aim to help the charitable nonprofit foundation find cures for pediatric cancer, and so far more than $15 million has been raised since cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott set up the first lemonade stand to benefit fellow children with cancer in 2000.

Frank has represented Lamb McErlane on the foundation board for more than four years.
