Over the past 14 years, the Brandywine Health Foundation has distributed over $14.1 million to promote health equity, encourage youth development, and transform the Coatesville community. Our first major project was the Brandywine Center, based in Coatesville, which houses ChesPenn Health Services providing medical and dental care to the community. With a generous donation from Bob and Jennifer McNeil, the McNeil Children’s Library was established.

McNeil Children’s Library is no ordinary library. Children are able to take a book home and keep it. We have lots of books that have been generously donated by local businesses and community members. Now our goal is to keep the shelves stocked with these wonderful books, and to keep the environment around the library clean, safe, and welcoming.

Brandywine Health Foundation is looking for an individual, family, group of friends, neighbors, organization, or service club to help keep the library organized on a weekly basis.

  • Organize shelves and re-stock with reading level appropriate books
