Coffee Break: What Is Net Neutrality?

Last week the President made headlines when he urged the Chairman of the FCC to adopt strict rules to preserve Net Neutrality in the US. Current rules prevent most forms of collusion between Internet Service Providers and content providers such as NetFlix. These rules prevent companies from paying to prioritize their content as it is transmitted to users. The New York Times posted this helpful video explaining the technical aspects of this “wonky” policy problem.
