Christine’s Consignment Boutique, a premier consignment boutique at 105 Westtown Road in West Chester, will host a 20th anniversary gala on Thursday, Nov. 13.
The popular boutique opened its doors in 1994 when the resale world was just growing in popularity. Owner Christine Hasen said she began by offering clothing for the whole family, but eventually found a niche in high quality label and designer merchandise for women – moderately priced. The shop also carries fine and unique jewelry, handbags and accessories.
Hasen said her shop has grown from one part-time employee to six, and she is now welcoming second-generation customers at the store.
“We try to make the shopping experience special for everyone coming through our doors,” she said.
There will be giveaways, food and music during the anniversary and the first 20 customers to arrive will receive a $20 gift card.

The store offers consignment and buyout programs and has 6,800 suppliers.
“We have fair prices, we give special treatment to our customers and we sell authentic designer merchandise,” Hasen said.
