Landenberg’s Paradocx Vineyard is opening a bottle shop and wine tasting room in Pottsville inside Black Rock Brewpub, writes Ron Devlin for The Daily Local News.
Black Rock owner Bobby Weaver is leasing part of the building to Paradocx, with a grand opening that took place April 17, according to Facebook. Weaver owns other downtown businesses and sees the arrival as an asset to the city.
The winery will take the north side of the building while Black Rock commits to the south, leaving a separate entrance off the main corridor and courtyard access for Paradocx patrons.
Paradocx will likely supply wine tastings and live music every other Friday through the fall. Light fare from The Farm Store in Pottsville, a farm-to-table business, will be available in the form of charcuterie boards.
“They’re going to be deeply involved in all community events,” said Weaver.
