Two Montgomery County businessmen have landed on the Forbes 2026 World’s Billionaires List with a combined fortune of around $84 billion, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Bala Cynwyd-based Susquehanna International Group co-founder and CEO Jeffrey Yass ranks as the 28th richest person globally and the wealthiest in the Philadelphia region. A regular on the Forbes list, his net worth increased to $67.4 billion this year from $59 billion last year, though his ranking fell slightly from No. 25 last year.
His firm employs 3,000 people nationwide and is one of the largest shareholders of ByteDance, which is the parent company of TikTok. Yass is also active in the Gladwyne revitalization plan, and contributes through property acquisitions and redevelopment projects.
Susquehanna International Group co-founder Arthur Dantchik is currently at No. 171 in the nation and sits just behind Yass in the region. The Gladwyne resident and managing director at the firm saw his net worth rise from $7 billion in 2024 to $16.9 billion.
