Three Chester County residents affiliated with Exton-based Bentley Systems have made their debut on Forbes’ most recent annual billionaire listing, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Bentley Systems is the publicly traded infrastructure software company that most recently reported revenue of $1.5 billion for fiscal 2025.
Keith Bentley, the company’s co-founder and an Elverson resident, placed No. 2,052 with a $2 billion net worth. His brother Barry, also a co-founder and Elverson resident, came in at No. 2,386 with a $1.7 billion net worth.
Their younger brother Gregory, Bentley Systems’ chairman and former CEO, lives in Coatesville and ranked No. 2,600 with a net worth of $1.5 billion.
Two additional people with Chester County ties who made the list this year are Catherine Dorrance Malone, who lives in London, and Mary Alice Dorrance Malone Jr., of Wellington, Florida. Both grew up in Chester County and were added to the list following the June death of their mother, longtime county resident Mary Alice Dorrance Malone.
‘The daughters inherited an 18 percent combined stake in Camden-based Campbell’s Co. Catherine also inherited her mother’s Coatesville farm.
