As the newly appointed Director of Brand Management at Equinix, the world’s largest data center company, Jessica David is gearing up to lead the corporate brand marketing team into its next era of global growth.
A New York City native who grew up in Chester County, David now calls Downingtown home. Her first job started at just 13 years old, juggling jobs as a Camp Counselor, a Kumon Tutor, and a Bakery Worker at Highland Orchards.
A graduate of Downingtown West High School, David earned her bachelor’s in Graphic Design & Photography from James Madison University. Her background in visual storytelling laid a strong foundation for a career defined by purposeful branding and bold thinking.
Before joining Equinix, David served as Director of Brand Strategy at Intel, where she spent five years helping shape the narrative of one of the world’s most iconic technology companies. She supported a diverse global brand portfolio across both B2B and B2C sectors, learning how to build cohesive identities that resonate across cultures and industries.
“I love working on collaborative, creative teams that view technology as a force for good,” she said.
David’s career is marked by accolades that reflect both her leadership and her impact, including being named to Forbes 30 Under 30, Brand Innovators 40 Under 40, and Cynopsis Best of the Best. She credits much of her growth to mentor Chad Stender of SeventySix Capital, who recognized her potential early and remains a guiding influence.
Despite her global focus, David remains rooted in her local community. In addition to international volunteer efforts, she recently completed the Force of Nature volunteer program with Natural Lands, a conservation nonprofit preserving open spaces across eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Her go-to spot to unwind in Chester County is the original Victory Brewing Company in Downingtown.
David and the rest of the 2025 Class of VISTA NextGen Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration on Thursday, May 8 at the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center.
