Braedon Swindler, a Coatesville resident, wears many hats: He’s the Marketing Technology Division Lead at IT Edge, Inc., Professor of Marketing at West Chester University (WCU), Founder of Valley Crossing Digital, and the visionary behind GO! Local Publications.
Swindler was born in Harrisburg and grew up in the village of Boiling Springs. His professional journey began at the Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce as an Intern after high school. Shortly after, he took on a role at La Baguette Magique, a bakery in West Chester, during his freshman year at WCU. He credits the bakery’s Owner, Catherine Seisson, for shaping his customer service and business operations foundation.
Swindler attended Boiling Springs High School, graduating in 2017, before earning a degree in International Business from WCU in 2020. He continued his education by obtaining an MBA from the University in 2021.
Today, Swindler leads IT Edge’s Marketing Technology Division, providing website design and digital marketing solutions to businesses and nonprofits. He thrives on using technology to tackle branding and lead-generation challenges for clients.
“Whether I’m building a website, hosting a discovery meeting, attending networking events, or running strategy sessions, every day brings something new,” said Swindler.
As a Professor of Marketing at WCU, Swindler teaches a Marketing Technology course, helping students apply real-world digital marketing strategies. Additionally, he founded Valley Crossing Digital to support startups and nonprofits, as well as GO! Local Publications, which launched 19320GO! in 2023 and expanded to 19335GO! in 2025, showcasing local businesses and hidden gems in the community.
“My proudest accomplishment is making a positive impact every day — whether through consulting, supporting startups, telling community stories, or teaching students,” said Swindler.
Swindler and the rest of the 2025 Class of VISTA NextGen Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration on Thursday, May 8 at the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center.
