School-Based Therapists
Family Service of Chester County is seeking three full-time Master’s level therapists for its School-Based Therapy program in the Kennett Consolidated School District one for elementary school and two for high school.
As a School-Based Therapist, the qualified candidate will provide individual and group therapy, conduct assessments and screenings, and collaborate with school staff and community providers. This role includes weekly individual and group supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy to students.
- Conduct assessments and screenings.
- Collaborate with school staff and community providers.
- Address suicidality and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
Schedule:
- Follow the school calendar with summers off, except for the 5-week Extended School Year program.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
- Strong clinical skills.
- Minimum 2 years experience working with children or adolescents.
- Comfortable working in a team setting.
- Experience working in schools preferred.
- Spanish-language skills preferred.
