Long-Awaited Brewery Officially Opens Its Doors in Phoenixville

Twelve78 Brewing, known for unique microbrews, has officially opened a taproom in Phoenixville after a long wait.

A beloved microbrewer in the region, known for their unique can releases, has officially opened their new taproom in Phoenixville, writes Justin Heinze for Patch.

After a long construction, Twelve78 Brewing Company opened its doors at 35 Bridge Street, just past the Mont Clare bridge. The grand opening was successful, with the taproom crowded throughout the weekend.

“Thank you to all of you who came and sat in our taproom, some 3 days in a row,” the brewery shared. “We are truly grateful to the people who helped us get here.”

Steve and Kara Rogacki, owners of Twelve78 and Phoenixville locals, have been brewing for years. Their brews have drawn rave reviews in varying homebrew competitions.

Twelve78 has received praise from beer experts as well. “Twelve78 has a fantastic spot,” Kutztown Oktoberfest committee member Steve shared. “As openings always are, they were beyond busy. Beer is fantastic, especially the sourcasm choco nanaberry. The entire team is friendly, and the community came out to support them.”

Some of their menu features are a wheat beer, a lager, two New England IPAs, a porter, and for those wanting to try something different, they have a blackberry milkshake IPA and a bourbon cream ale.
