For those who grew up on Tastykakes, one of the best ways to start the new year on the right foot is to enjoy Tastykake Koffee Kake Ale from Victory Brewing Company, writes Stephanie Farr for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Downingtown-based brewery released the Tastykake beer officially at its taprooms in Downingtown, Center City, Parkesburg, and Kennett Square late last month. Six-packs of the tasty beer are expected to become available at major beer distributors “any day,” said Victory brand manager Kelly Irvine.

You will be able to grab this limited-release collaboration through March, or until supplies last.

“With a lot of change in the world right now, pride of place remains constant and brings comfort,” said Irvine. “When drinkers are shopping for products, there’s always an associated risk in trying something new versus staying with something steady and safe like our Monkey family or Brotherly Love.”

By partnering with a company that is well-known and well-loved by the brewery’s local fan base, Victory has managed to “bring even more confidence to our newest product than already would exist,” he added.
