To Better Access for Its Clients, Transportation Solutions Provider Moves Headquarters to Uwchlan
To improve access for its clients, logistics and transportation solutions provider Translogistics has moved its corporate headquarters from Birdsboro, Berks County, to Uwchlan Township, writes Donna Rovins for The Daily Local News.
“It is more centrally located to the greater Philadelphia market and positions us in an even better location to respond to the dynamic demands of the shipping industry,” said Ron Chelli, Translogistics’ president.
According to Joseph McDevitt, director of marketing and business development for Translogistics, the company started working on plans for the relocation in April.
“Translogistics relocated largely because of client feedback,” he said. “Our new location is right off the turnpike and closer to key accounts. The second reason TLI moved was to recruit top talent in Chester County.”
The company consolidated two separate offices into the new building at East Uwchlan Avenue and Route 100 which totals 4,100 square feet. While the Birdsboro location was larger, the layout of the new space is more open, which is expected to add to productivity.
The new location has state-of-the-art facilities and amenities and offers an improved working environment for the company’s team of supply chain professionals.
