Two of the best craft breweries to visit in Pennsylvania are in Chester County.

Two Chester County breweries are among the thirty best craft breweries to visit in Pennsylvania, according to Food & Wine

Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, including Exton and West Chester locations, has been around for a while. However, despite its age, its beers should not be ignored. Each of the brewpubs features its own equipment and brewmasters who brew on-site.

The brewery can boast of winning Great American Beer Festival medals each year for over two decades.

Levante Brewing in West Chester also made the list. The brewery’s name means “to rise up” in Italian, referring to the sunrise. The brewers came with a Mediterranean heritage themselves. Eric Santostefano and Tim Floros, who founded Levante, were inspired by the old world of brewing when they started making their own beer.

As a result, Levante has a series that is inspired by Belgian Trappist, a German kölsch called Kolibri, and pilsners made in Bohemian style, such as Birra Di Levante.

They also create some more modern, Americanized beers, including Cloudy and Cumbersome, an IPA, and Going Guava!, a hop bomb in the style of a milkshake.
