West Chester’s new idyllic vegan venue Ground Provisions has earned four out of four stars by Philadelphia Magazine’s Jason Sheehan.

Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby, the brains behind Vedge in Philly and Fancy Radish in D.C., have called the former Inn Keeper’s Kitchen home.

Adjacent to Brinton Run Preserve, this Dilworthtown location is a much slower pace than the bustling atmosphere of the Philly restaurant scene. Patrons can sip on a powerful whiskey cocktail or enjoy an organic latte on the porch.

The establishment is a wine and artisanal and organic farmer-supplied market most days, and a restaurant with an a la carte menu from Thursday to Saturday. The dining room has only eight tables and 52 seats that require reservations that are often booked out a month in advance.

The tasting menu offers a wide range of plant-based cuisine, from marinated olives and frites to cannelloni, and warm blueberry cobbler.
